Memorial or Tribute Donation

"We are born for a higher destiny than that of earth; there is a realm where the rainbow never fades, where the stars will be spread before us like islands that slumber on the ocean, and where the beings that pass before us like shadows will stay in our presence forever."
- Edward Bulwer-Lytton

You can make a meaningful difference in the life of a child by making your contribution to support the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation in memory or honor of a loved on by completing this form or by sending in the Printable Donation Form, or by donating online now.

A gift of remembrance to the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation is a wonderful way to recognize someone who has made a difference in your life. It is a thoughtful memorial, or a way to honor someone on special occasions, such as birthday, retirement, anniversary or holiday.

These gifts are a gratifying way for individuals, organizations, businesses and groups to honor some one while supporting the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation's mission to provide other nonprofit organizations with a means to educate the public about the needs of children across this nation.

A memorial or tribute card is sent as specified. The amount of the gift is not indicated. Every gift is tax deductible and the donor receives an acknowledgment. Simply register your loved one's name with the Foundation by calling 317-630-1202 and asking for a Memorial Program representative.

There is no minimum contribution required and no administrative cost associated with the Fund; all donations are used for ALCWF programs.

In appreciation of your contribution, the Foundation will mail a personal thank you note to the donor, as well as notification of the gift to the next of kin. For a single memorial donation of $300 or more, the family will receive a memorial desk plaque (please make sure we are sent the name and address of the next of kin).
